This beautiful 6 bedroom villa for rent is located in Tavira, the heart of the Nature Reserve of Ria Formosa and close to the small town of Fuzeta.

Accommodation

The library, a semi-open private space distinguished by arches, features a wood fire and opens onto the enclosed patio and the garden terrace.

A dining area accommodating twelve people leads to the front and west side garden terraces. The living area, with an open Moorish-style hand-crafted wood fire, provides access to the front garden terrace.

All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, and instead of traditional air conditioning, underfloor cooling ensures a comfortable ambiance reminiscent of the coolness inside a summer church without any cold drafts.

Bedrooms

On the ground floor, an en suite queen-size bedroom (bedroom 1), accessed via the enclosed patio, features a private terrace overlooking the garden. Another comfortable en suite twin bedroom (bedroom 2)opens to the enclosed patio, with the option to join the beds into a king size.

An additional en suite twin bedroom (bedroom 3)on the ground floor opens to the front terrace and the guest house's terrace, offering garden and sea views. The master suite (bedroom 4) on the first floor includes a spacious dressing area with a small French balcony overlooking the enclosed patio. This suite (bedroom 5) has a king-size bed and a large private terrace with an exterior staircase leading to the garden and pool. The full bathroom with sea views also has its private terrace.

The guest house (bedrom 6) comprises two en suite twin bedrooms with sea views, opening to a private outside terrace area in the garden, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Both the main house and the guest house are part of a single building but function as completely independent units.

Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen features a central island with an incorporated bar, separating the kitchen from the dining area. It includes a large oven, a combined microwave, a Teppenyaki, a 5-burner gas hob, two sinks, a fridge, and a discreetly placed TV.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the service kitchen houses an American fridge and an additional sink. The laundry room, accessed via the service kitchen, is equipped with a washing machine, a tumbler, a sink, and an ironing set, with access to an outdoor drying patio.

Outside

The entrance to the house features a Moorish-style patio with an adjoining outdoor space centered around an olive tree.

Expansive gardens surround a spacious saltwater pool measuring 6m by 13m, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the island and mountains. The pool is equipped with an integrated electrically operated cover that, when closed, efficiently heats the water. Adjacent to the pool, amidst the olive garden, there's a bathroom and an outdoor shower.

Covered and uncovered terraces, an enclosed patio, and a fully-equipped summer kitchen are nestled amid the olive gardens. The roofed summer kitchen includes a barbecue area with a large gas grill, wood carbon grill, pizza oven, dishwasher, fridge, sink, and a convivial food preparation zone. Additionally, there's a designated Boccia/Petanque sand area for outdoor games.

Atop the house, a spacious panoramic terrace offers stunning views. The separate guest house boasts a garden terrace with sea views.
