Resort Overview

Located in the charming village of Praia da Luz, within walking distance of the beach and the town centre, Estrela da Luz offers various types of accommodation and activities included in a stunning setting. The resort features a spa, two swimming pools, restaurant and bar and has a beautiful beach nearby, making this resort the ideal place for a family holiday.

A selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments are available to Premier Villas guests. With the apartments being located just 7 minute’s walk to the beach and 550 yards from the shops and restaurants of Praia da Luz, it is the perfect resort for families who wish to have the space and comfort a private air conditioned apartment but have an array of facilities close by.

All apartments have a satellite TV and DVD player, while many enjoy fantastic sea views. Their modern kitchens are spacious and fully equipped. A maid service and towel change are offered twice a week.

As well as indoor and outdoor swimming options, Estrela da Luz features a hot tub, sauna, and tennis court facilities. The Techno-Gym has been designed by former footballer John Aldridge.

The on site restaurant/cafe serves food all through the day, and in the Steven Davies Club Room you can play pool, cards or watch live sport on the big screen TV. 

Bike hire, babysitting and laundry services can all be arranged through the Reception which is available from 07:30 until midnight, and they can also provide an whole host of local area information for guests. During the night there is a security guard within the grounds.

Local area

Everything you need for your holiday is within easy reach making this destination a great choice for families. The resort is within easy walking distance of lovely little town of Luz which has a fantastic selection of cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops, and as such car hire is not essential. However, if you do wish to travel and explore a bit more, the vibrant town of Lagos, is about a 10-minute drive. Here you will find a plentiful choice of cafes bars and restaurants, excellent shopping facilities and the very popular marina. There are three golf courses within a short drive, namely, Boavista, Palmares and Parque da Floresta.
